What a special night our first Hobo Spaceship Variety show was! Our friends at Big Foot Media captured the evening as we began capturing the Hobo hearts of Chicago’s DIY community. The show opened with Kira Smith on the cello setting a sophisticated stage for Hobo Candy Crush and the fart comedy of WAK.

The Hobo House Band wowed the crowd with interludes and soundtracks while the audience begged for the bearded Sugarfoot to take the stage. Fun and games and lots of clappers all led up to HSVS1’s fantastic headliner, Chicago’s own, Pleasure Hammer. Staying true to our mission of blending live and digital experiences, HSVS1 introduced the layers of entertainment that are now the thread for the HSVS live and web series. Great job and thank you to everyone who made our pilot possible!
